About the listing
A one-day -retreat on ‘learning how to thrive during the winter'
with the teachings and the timeless wisdom of Chinese Medicine and Yogic-Ayurveda (including Taoism and Tantra).
This workshop is an opportunity to restore, nourish and connect to yourself in ways that will offer you access to the healing and rejuvenating essence of winter and the possibility of finding your state of inner balance relevant to the season.
During the winter, certain elements, how they relate and how they harmonise are important for the health and vitality of a female’s essence. If these elements are out of balance we tend to feel mentally out of sorts, and emotionally unstable during the winter.
We tend to suffer from inflammatory conditions, aches, pains, tiredness, feeling flat, and other symptoms that disrupt our daily enjoyment. During this retreat we will explore these vital health-giving elements and how they fit into our daily life so we can truly thrive during the winter.
Modern day women are busy and to keep our balance in winter, there are specific ways of being. The timeless wisdom of Chinese Medicine and Yogic-Ayurveda can help you to establish a foundation that can offer stability and grounding during a season that can have us be very emotionally and physically vulnerable.
Facilitators Rachel and Frances have over 20 years’ experience and look forward to sharing their knowledge with you.
