About the listing
The Great Ocean Road is one of Australia’s most iconic tourism attractions. This spring marks 100 years since construction began, and to celebrate Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism will be hosting a series of events across the region from 18 September—6 October.
La Bimba's owner and head chef, Steve Earl, will be re-creating the original menu from the celebratory luncheon held in 1932 when the route was officially opened. The four-course menu will focus on locally sourced ingredients in season that celebrates the region’s produce.
Tickets are $85 and includes a four-course lunch plus welcome drink on arrival. Wine matching option is available on the day. Kids option is available for $40. Dietary requirements can be catered for, please e-mail info@labimba.com.au or call (03) 5237 7411 with your requests by Wednesday 18th September.
Ticket sales close on Friday 20th September at 11:30pm. Please call the restaurant after this time to see if there are tickets still available.
